Conquering Cobwebs I just moved into my new home but it has high ceilings and I can't reach the cobwebs. What can I do to fight the cobwebs? Our favorite tool to remove cobwebs is the Webster. Webster, manufactured by Sunshine Industries, is an extension pole with flexible plastic bristles, like a round sunburst, at the top. Webster extends to about 5 feet for hard to reach corners, for cleaning fan blades, or raised ceilings. The best part about Webster is that you can remove cobwebs without smearing them all over the wall. Also use it to knock spiders to the ground instead of smashing them on your walls and leaving a mark. It's a great tool to clean baseboards without having to stoop down to reach. Webster is easy to clean, just hose it off, and allow it to dry. We have found that the threading on the Webster head is compatible with the extremely long extension poles that reach 20 feet or more. So even if you have vaulted ceilings you don't have to put up with cobwebs anymore. You can purchase Webster at Long's, OSH, Home Depot and other home improvement type stores.
