Could you please me how I could get sweat stains out of a white t-shirt? Alison Thanks for your question. We have hands on experience with this problem. The secret to success is pretreatment. Take your sweaty t-shirt and turn it inside out. Then on the armpits, we like to squirt some Ajax dishwashing soap (not the antibacterial one) and then add some water and agitate the fabric back and forth to create suds. Every couple of hours I go back and agitate the fabric some more, and maybe add some more water. Then we do a load of laundry. You mentioned that the shirt is white, so maybe you should try a detergent with bleach in it, like Liquid Tide with bleach. Using just bleach on the shirt may damage the fibers. I found that switching deodorants helped to reduce the sweat stains in my t-shirts. You may want to give this a try.
